This course provides the foundational information about neurodiversity, why it matters in employment and some tools, skills and resources to be able to create a workplace culture that is healthy, safe and inclusive for all workers. The course includes 4 modules and can be completed in approximately four hours.

This Neurodiverse Safe Work Foundations Course II provides a comprehensive overview of neurodiversity in employment across four modules. Once successfully completed, participants can receive the micro-credential, BSBWHS411 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs issued by registered training organisation Knowledge Access (#40961).

It includes tips on identifying and discussing individual strengths and challenges and bringing teams together collaboratively to work at their best and guidance in having supportive, coaching style conversations to help all workers perform work safely.

This course is designed for the Boards and Executive Leadership Teams of organisations and covers these company officers’ Primary Duty of Care to ensure the health and safety of workers, and how this can be discharged for workers who think and function differently. It also provides some examples of companies who have implemented neuroinclusive practice and the strategic advantages this has brought them.

This course is designed for WHS and workplace investigators and includes resources for identifying, assessing and controlling risks as experienced by neurodivergent workers and information and guidance for workplace investigators when interviewing neurodivergent workers.

Additionally, the course will discuss the impact of neurodiversity on health, highlight the importance of understanding neurodiversity for professional coaches, and provide strategies for working effectively with neurodivergent clients, along with tools and resources to help.

Neurodiverse Safe Work Foundations Course II

This Neurodiverse Safe Work Foundations Course II provides a comprehensive overview of neurodiversity in employment across four modules. Learners gain insight into neurodiversity terminology, its impact on workplace health and safety, employer responsibilities, and practical strategies for fostering inclusivity. Through pre and post-course assessments and real-world case studies, participants learn to identify unconscious bias and address gaps in existing management systems and processes, promoting a neuroinclusive workplace culture. Once successfully completed, participants can receive the micro-credential, BSBWHS411 - Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs issued by registered training organisation Knowledge Access (#40961).
